The popularity of keeping a few chicken in the garden continues to grow and we are always delighted to encourage and advise first time poultry keepers as well as to renew aquaintanceship with existing customers looking to increase their flocks- we have always warned it's an addictive hobby!

Offering advice on all aspects of poultry keeping, whether it be the most suitable breed for a particular situation or a more complex husbandry query we find to be much more satisfactorily dealt with either person to person or by telephone and therefore we do not offer an e-mail service.

Our shop sells feeders and drinkers and other ancillary bits & pieces as well as the appropriate feed for the age of chickens you purchase.

Hatching eggs are sold, subject to availability, and where collection is not possible we are prepared to despatch them via Parcel Force.

Our chickens are sold from day old upwards, but the age at which males and females can be reliably sexed varies enormously from breed to breed. The purchase of a cockerel is not obligatory. Delivery can be arranged to most areas by a specialist carrier, carriage is extra.
